Growing up on the banks of Teetl’it Zheh, raised by my knowledgeable and strong grandparents, Dorothy and Robert Alexie Snr, and Rosemary and the late Abraham Koe Snr, also acknowledging my community for raising me as well. Without their love, support, respect, patience, passings of knowledge, stories, and bringing me along on many adventures, whether it was out on the land or in leadership, they are part of the reason I am who I am.
